Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Nelson invites applications for three fixed-term Regional Administrator roles (8 months, part-time). You will support the FIT for Symptomatic pathway and regional colonoscopy services by managing referrals, patient information and tracking systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration roles and appointment coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail and computer skills.
• Strong communication and telephone manner.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work to established processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals, patient records and tracking systems accurately and efficiently
• Support the coordination and management of regional colonoscopy waitlists
• Proactively contact patients to explain processes, answer questions and support participation
• Record and monitor patient progress and outcomes
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams across the region
• Help identify and address administrative barriers that may prevent patients from accessing care
• Contribute to equitable access and positive healthcare experiences for patients and whānau.
