Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations and Facilities Manager to lead the primary Queenstown facility. You will oversee daily operations, safety, vendor management, and project delivery to ensure service continuity and efficiency.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and a minimum of six years in operations/facilities, with strong leadership and budgeting capabilities. On-site role with opportunities for professional development and competitive incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in operations and/or facilities management.
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations and maintain commercial facilities.
• Strong grasp of operational best practices, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations; excellent leadership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for efficiency, productivity, and service quality in Queenstown.
• Maintain and secure facilities; ensure a safe, functional work environment.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Manage budgets for operations and facilities; optimize resources.
• Lead and mentor operational and facilities staff; uphold safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships for facility services and equipment.
• Lead facility upgrade and renovation projects as needed.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement timely solutions.
