Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will manage a team, ensure outputs meet targets for quality and safety, and collaborate with maintenance and quality control to optimise processes.

Qualifications

Experience supervising production in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards and safety.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to motivate a diverse team and drive performance.
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily activities of the production team and meet schedules/targets.
Monitor processes to sustain quality and efficiency.
Provide leadership, training and guidance to staff.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental rules.
Allocate resources and manage personnel and materials.
Identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain records and prepare management reports.
Foster teamwork and continuous improvement; collaborate with quality and maintenance.
