Job summary

Millennium Hotels and Resorts – Queenstown is seeking a reliable and proactive maintenance painter to join our team. You will perform interior and exterior painting across hotel facilities, prepare surfaces, and carry out routine maintenance to uphold high standards.

We value safety and teamwork, with opportunities to develop skills in a supportive environment and maintain excellent guest experiences. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in painting, plastering, and maintenance.
• Trade qualification preferred but not essential.
• Health & safety awareness is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete interior and exterior painting across hotel facilities.
• Prepare surfaces (sanding, filling, plaster repairs, priming).
• Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Maintain tools and equipment to required standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support hotel operations.

• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required
