Job summary

ColorCote, part of the Fletcher Building Group, is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our Auckland team. You will develop and manage production schedules, coordinate raw material requirements, and optimise plant capacity to deliver strong DIFOT and customer service.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will work with Production, Customer Service, Inventory, Logistics and Quality teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production planning, scheduling or similar manufacturing role.
• Experience using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

About the role Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules, coordinating raw material requirements, optimising plant capacity and efficiency, optimising DIFOT result. You'll work closely with Production, Customer Service, Inventory, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer outcomes.

What you'll bring

Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar manufacturing role

Experience using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills

Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
