We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills, and enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day logistics and inventory operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating stock transfers and movements, maintaining accurate inventory records, liaising with 3PL suppliers and freight providers, and ensuring products are available where and when they are needed.
A manufacturing or production environment background would be highly beneficial, particularly for someone who has experience working with production orders, bills of materials (BOMs), raw materials, components, and finished goods. You'll need to understand how inventory flows through a production process and be comfortable coordinating materials to support production requirements.
Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements and freight
Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies
Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available to meet production and customer requirements
Coordinate purchasing and supplier deliveries
Liaise with suppliers, freight providers, warehouses, and internal teams
Manage production orders and ensure required materials are available
Work with bills of materials (BOMs) and component requirements
Coordinate the movement of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
Assist with stocktakes, inventory control, and cycle counts
Identify and resolve supply, inventory, and logistics issues
Maintain accurate documentation and records across relevant systems
Support continuous improvement of inventory and logistics processes
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in logistics, inventory, supply chain, or a related coordination role
Ideally experienced in a manufacturing or production environment
Comfortable working with production orders and bills of materials (BOMs)
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented, particularly when dealing with inventory and data
Confident communicating with suppliers, freight providers, and internal teams
Proactive and hands‑on, with a strong sense of ownership
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can change
Confident using inventory, ERP, or supply‑chain systems
Practical and solutions-focused, with the ability to follow an issue through to resolution
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing inventory processes would be an advantage.
