Job description

An accredited food manufacturer in Hamilton needs a planner who can take ownership of the production plan and act as the link between manufacturing and sales.

The employer needs someone ready to contribute straight away, because the deer velvet peak season continues through to February/March. Hours are 40 per week on a full-time basis, with extra hours during peak, and the start date is as soon as possible. The position carries one direct report, giving a first step into leadership and room to develop.

This employer accepts applications only from candidates already based in New Zealand. Its Immigration New Zealand accreditation means it welcomes applicants who require an Accredited Employer Work Visa through employer sponsorship, on the condition that they are already here and hold New Zealand work experience.

Employers hiring planners look for evidence, so list the ERP systems you have run, the forecasting you have led and any food manufacturing audits you supported.
