Job summary

Wither Hills in Marlborough is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our winery team for a 12-month fixed-term, part-time role (30 hours per week), Monday to Friday with flexible hours.

You will support bottling coordination, stock management, involvement with winemaking, operations, sales and brand teams, and handle admin tasks such as purchase orders, invoicing and record management, while coordinating logistics for visitors and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, production coordination, logistics or a similar role.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong Excel, data management and digital skills.
• Experience with purchase orders, invoicing or stock management.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in the wine industry would be a bonus.

• Reporting to the Head Winemaker, you'll play an important role in keeping our winery operations running smoothly. You'll be responsible for:
• Managing wine show entries and domestic and international wine samples.
• Overseeing stock management across Marlborough warehouses and hospitality venues.
• Supporting vintage changeovers and coordinating stock replenishment.
• Providing administration support, including purchase orders, invoicing and record management.
• Supporting logistics for winery visitors, customers and sales teams.
• Coordinating wine bottling activities and liaising with demand planning, sales teams and external partners.

This is a varied role where you'll work closely with our winemaking, operations, sales and brand teams, supporting everything from bottling coordination and stock management to wine shows and international sample shipments.
