We're seeking an experienced Production and Operational Excellence Managerto lead winery operations and drive continuous improvement across our Matua Winery. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and compliant winery execution while embedding operational excellence principles, data-led decision making and sustainable performance improvements.

About the Role
As a key member of the Matua Winery leadership team, this role owns production execution performance across the winery. You will lead the systems, people and continuous improvement initiatives that convert production plans into safe, efficient and repeatable operational outcomes while improving throughput, labour productivity and cost performance.
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager - Matua, you will provide leadership across winery operations, vintage readiness, production execution planning, safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement culture.
Working closely with Winemaking, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain and Site Leadership teams, you'll play a key role in optimising operational performance, developing team capability and driving a culture of operational excellence across the winery.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on operations leader who thrives in a dynamic production environment and is passionate about delivering both operational results and long-term performance improvement.
