Job summary

EROAD Ltd. is seeking a Product Operations Manager in Auckland to align people, process and delivery across the product org and adjacent areas. You will establish governance, rituals and reporting to enable scalable, proactive workflows.

You will partner with VP of Product and leadership to drive metrics, documentation and knowledge management while applying AI thinking to real ops problems in a growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building or evolving product operations processes, rituals and governance frameworks such as planning cycles and roadmap reviews.
• Experience driving cross-functional alignment between product, engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience owning documentation, knowledge management systems and reporting mechanisms.
• Experience implementing operational metrics and reporting systems, including data analysis and dashboard tools to give leadership visibility of performance.
• Comfort with product management tools such as roadmapping, planning and reporting platforms.
• Hands-on interest in applying AI tools and approaches to product operations.
• Enough seniority to lead operational strategy and process change across product teams.
• Background in programme/project management or business operations with product exposure is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve rituals and governance for product teams, including planning cycles and roadmap reviews.
• Champion standardised tools, templates and reporting across the product org.
• Define and track operational metrics and build dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Own product documentation and knowledge management for easy access and current information.
• Bridge between product, engineering and business stakeholders to align cadences and delivery against goals.
• Drive shift from reactive firefighting to proactive, scalable processes across the lifecycle and related areas like go-to-market.
• Partner with VP of Product, Product Leadership, Product Managers, engineering and business stakeholders without direct people management.
