Job summary

New Zealand Post Group in Nelson is seeking a Processing Officer to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at our Saxton Road branch for courier delivery.

This on‑call role covers early morning or late afternoon shifts; you may be called to cover sickness or peak periods. The job requires physical effort, lifting up to 25kg and keen attention to detail.

• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe.

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight at our Saxton Road branch, ready for our couriers to deliver. We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.

Our On Call employees are a vital part of our business. You can be called on to cover staff sickness, leave or to assist us with our peak delivery periods. Its a great way to get work / life balance!
