Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a Processing Officer at our Saxton Road, Stoke site to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels for courier delivery. This on-call role supports sickness, leave, and peak periods, offering work/life balance and a stable, government-owned workplace.

The successful candidate will be able to work 4am-7am or 4pm-6:30pm, lift up to 25kg, and maintain safety and accuracy while contributing to efficient parcel processing.

Qualifications

• Be available to work on call, covering Monday-Saturday 4am-7am or 4pm-6.30pm.
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe.
• Energy for a physically demanding role – can you lift up to 25kgs?
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at the Saxton Road branch.
• Assist with on-call cover during peak periods and staff sickness.
