Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking Processing Officers for on-call work at our Whanganui Depot. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight so our couriers can deliver on time.

This role is on-call and you may be asked to cover illness, peak periods or extended leave. It’s a physically demanding job requiring attention to detail and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Be available to work on-call hours as required.
• Flexibility to start earlier or finish later during peak times.
• Reliable transport to get to work on time.
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself and others safe.
• Energy for a physically demanding role; able to lift up to 25kg.
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Whanganui Depot.
• Support couriers to ensure parcels are ready for delivery.
