• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Commerce, Management or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years’ experience in business consulting, wholesale distribution strategy or supply chain optimisation.
• Proven track record of analysing SME trading businesses, redesigning workflows and delivering measurable profit improvements.
• Strong financial analysis, market research and strategic planning capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Process Improvements Management Consultant

We specialise in wholesale & supply of laptops, workstations, PC components, peripherals and professional technical repair services for New Zealand domestic businesses and end customers.

Position Summary

Our business focuses on sustainable growth, streamlined supply chain management and consistent operational improvement, and we are now seeking an experienced Management Consultant to deliver end-to-end strategic business optimisation for our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• 1.Conduct market and competitor analysis within New Zealand’s IT hardware sector, evaluate market demand for laptops, workstations, PC components and peripherals to guide product portfolio planning for the authorised dealership.
• 2.Review and optimise end-to-end supply chain operations, negotiate commercial terms with brand suppliers, improve inventory planning and implement cost control initiatives.
• 3.Analyse business financial performance, identify operational bottlenecks, prepare data-driven commercial reports and deliver actionable strategic recommendations to business owners.
• 4.Develop operational governance frameworks and performance metrics for sales and technical service teams, propose revised workflow standards to lift overall business efficiency.
• 5.Monitor industry technology trends, advise the business on product selection and service optimisation to sustain market competitiveness as an authorised IT hardware dealer.
• 6.Identify internal process gaps across sales, technical repair service and logistics, design and implement business improvement initiatives.
• 7.Provide strategic advice on local market expansion, customer segmentation and profitability enhancement for the dealership’s core operations.
• 8. Utilise optimization algorithms to identify and reduce customer purchase friction from marketing to purchase point at all chains of the business process chain.

Requirements

• 1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Commerce, Management or other relevant commercial disciplines is preferred.
• 2. Possess a minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience in business consulting, wholesale distribution strategy or supply chain optimisation.
• 3. Demonstrated track record of analysing SME trading businesses, redesigning workflows and delivering measurable profit improvements.
• 4. Strong financial analysis, market research and strategic planning capabilities.
• 5. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to present formal consulting reports to business stakeholders.
