Job summary

Viblock is expanding into new markets and products and seeks a practical systems and inventory specialist. You will strengthen the information and processes connecting sales, purchasing, production, warehousing and dispatch.

You will own stock controls, ERP data and reporting, linking physical operations with the systems that support them. Expect to identify root causes, map processes and implement practical improvements for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, systems administration, supply chain, operations or a related role.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis capability, plus experience with ERP, inventory or accounting systems.
• Knowledge of stock control and the discipline to investigate discrepancies to root cause.
• Ability to connect physical operations with the systems supporting them.
• Clear communication across office, warehouse and production teams.
• Practical ownership, commercial judgement and a high level of numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Inventory controls, stocktakes, cycle counts, variances and slow or excess stock.
• Operational systems, master data, user procedures, issue resolution and upgrades.
• Useful KPIs, dashboards and reporting for purchasing, production and sales decisions.
• Process mapping and practical improvements that remove duplication and recurring errors.
• Stock levels, reorder points, demand forecasting and early warning of shortages or overstock.
• Accurate recording of production, yields, material use, transfers and finished goods.

This is not a role for simply correcting stock figures. You will find out why problems occur, improve the process and help us use our ERP, data and technology properly.

What you will own
