Job summary

Auckland Meat Processors is seeking a proactive part-time IT/Infrastructure professional in Auckland. You will provide internal infrastructure support, collaborate with the Export team, and liaise with cold stores, customers, suppliers and traders to coordinate export activities.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and effective problem-solving under pressure.

Auckland Meat Processors – Auckland, North Island

We are looking for someone who is good with computers and has strong interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills in this role. You will be a team player with good decision-making skills, be calm under pressure and be a person of influence.

A bit more about the job:

We are currently looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual experienced and comfortable around computers, and familiar with systems administration; you will be providing internal infrastructure support, working with our Export team. This is a part-time role working up to 30 hours per week

Your knowledge of the food processing industry would be advantageous.

• Specific experience with export documentation, preparation and coordination
• Liaise with cold stores, customers, suppliers and traders
• Assist with export sales, orders and customer enquiries

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of food manufacturing
• Excellent communication, networking and stakeholder management skills
• Management and problem-solving
• Strong drive for continuous improvement and a 'can-do' attitude.
