Watercare Services Limited in Auckland is seeking a Process Engineer to join a team that combines design with hands-on operational experience in water treatment and wastewater processes.

You will be involved in hands-on trouble-shooting, process optimisation, and delivering small to medium improvement projects, while supporting operations and commissioning activities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree (Washington Accord) in Chemical and Materials Engineering; Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering; Electrical Engineering; or Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience in an engineering/operations environment, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.
• Experience in process control, process design, process issue troubleshooting/analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Providing technical and operational support to the operations team.
• Conduct process analysis and develop specific test methodologies for process optimisation.
• Trouble-shooting plant issues affecting process performance.
• Managing and delivering improvement projects to improve and optimise plant performance and reliability.
• Reviewing planning investigation briefs and consultant submissions and providing operational information.
• Supporting the projects/commissioning team with on-site upgrades and improvement works.
• Participating in an out-of-hours callout roster, which provides emergency coverage for our water treatment plants.

In this role you will bring:

• A Washington Accord accredited bachelor's degree in either Chemical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience in an engineering/operations environment, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.
• A strong drive to develop knowledge and understanding of the water industry Experience in process control,process design,process issuetroubleshooting/analysis.
• Effective projectmanagement skills
• Experience in data analysis, plantprocessesand report preparation
• Current NZ Full Driver’s license
