Job summary

Watercare is hiring a Process Engineer in West Auckland to support operations and drive process improvements. The role covers hands-on troubleshooting, design improvements and commissioning of small to medium projects.

The successful candidate has a Washington Accord accredited bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in engineering/operations, with strong analytical and project management capabilities. Local NZ driver’s license is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Requires a Washington Accord accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years in engineering/operations, preferably water/wastewater.
• Experience in process control, design and troubleshooting.
• Strong data analysis and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support to operations teams.
• Conduct process analysis and develop test methodologies for optimisation.
• Troubleshoot plant issues affecting process performance.
• Deliver improvement projects to enhance reliability.
• Support project/commissioning teams with upgrades and on-site works.
