Job summary

Carlyle Medical Centre in Napier is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our supportive general practice team. We value patient‑centred care and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to vaccination programs and chronic disease management.

Roles are permanent or casual, up to 35.25 hours per week, with arrangements negotiable for the right candidate. A current NZ Annual Practising Certificate and strong IT literacy are essential.

General Practice – Registered Nurse

Two Roles - Permanent Role and Casual Role

Carlyle Medical is a General Practice in Napier with almost 7200 enrolled patients, owned by seven GP Partners who highly value, support and respect the growth of our nursing team. We have a stable workforce and our fantastic nursing team currently includes three Community Nurse Prescribers. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team who has a passion for Primary Care, who is highly motivated in their role, enthusiastic, energetic, uses initiative and is forward thinking. A nurse who is an amazing team player who thrives on being part of a team, gets on well with people of all backgrounds and aims to go over and above for our patients.

Ideally you will have experience as a Practice Nurse, including being a Fully Authorised Vaccinator, however, this is not essential. You must have:

• A current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and with genuine compassion
• Quick and willing learner
• Excellent IT literacy

The hours available are up to 35.25 per week but these are able to be negotiated for the right candidate and could also be considered as a job share between two nurses.
