Dinsdale Medical Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. You will work alongside our GPs, Practice Manager and wider clinical team to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our enrolled population.
Providing high-quality nursing care within a general practice setting
Immunisations and vaccinations
Wound care and dressing management
Clinical assessments and triage
Health checks and chronic disease management (diabetes annual reviews, CVRA)
Cervical screening and other preventative health services
ECGs, spirometry, audiometry and other clinical procedures
Supporting national screening programmes and patient recalls
Assisting with minor procedures
Patient education and health promotion
A New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate
Experienced in, or interested in developing their career in, general practice
Confident, approachable and compassionate
Able to work independently while being a strong team player
Well organised and able to manage a varied workload
Committed to providing excellent patient care
Comfortable working in a busy primary care environment
A clear and effective communicator
Professional, reliable and positive in their approach
Practice nursing experience is preferred, but we are happy to consider nurses from other clinical backgrounds who are keen to transition into general practice
