Job summary

Kumara Vine is seeking an Advisor to join the School Transport team within Te Mahau | Education Services. The role focuses on supporting operational policy, performance, and consistency across school transport services, and involves ministerial briefings and translating policy into practice to improve delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex organisation, ideally in the public sector.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
• Experience preparing ministerial briefings and working with stakeholders to develop operational policy and procedures.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience of at least 2 years practical experience.
• Familiarity with government processes and service delivery.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
