Job summary

Kumara Vine in Wellington seeks a Senior Advisor, Industrial and Employment Relations to provide expert employee relations guidance on complex matters. You will support policy development and collective bargaining while analyzing trends and risks across the organisation.

You will monitor legislative changes, advise managers, and help shape capability across People, Culture and Capability teams in a dynamic public sector environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering employment relations outcomes in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience partnering across HR functions and building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Significant HR advisory experience with employment relations expertise at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality employment relations advice on complex employee matters
• Monitor upcoming legislative and policy changes and assess implications for the organisation
• Analyse employment relations data, identify themes, and propose improvements
• Develop and implement HR and employment relations policies and initiatives
• Coordinate and administer collective bargaining activities
• Build capability across People, Culture and Capability teams
• Lead or contribute to innovative solutions addressing ER challenges
• Identify risks and develop practical solutions to protect organisational integrity and reputation
