Job summary

Kumara Vine is seeking a Senior Advisor in Strategic Programmes to provide specialist guidance for Healthy School Lunches and related programmes. You will support schools, kura, suppliers and partners across the Bay of Plenty region to ensure nutritious lunches for ākonga and strong contract management.

The role involves regular travel, collaboration with national teams, and emphasis on stakeholder engagement and programme outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Ability to navigate complex conversations and manage multiple priorities.
• Understanding of food service industry, food safety and kitchen management.
• Knowledge of Te Reo Māori and tikanga Māori is advantageous.
• Experience working with iwi/hapū and government processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice to support Healthy School Lunches programmes.
• Support schools, kura, suppliers and partners to meet programme outcomes.
• Ensure supplier compliance with contractual standards and governance.
• Travel regularly to engage with schools in the Bay of Plenty region.
