Job summary

Pacific Radiology is seeking a patient-focused PET/CT team member to welcome patients and visitors, answer calls, and provide timely information on imaging appointments, preparation, and safety checks.

You will coordinate with clinical teams, request tests and notes, arrange patient travel, and liaise with Cyclotek for radiopharmaceutical deliveries while assisting with funding applications and payments, ensuring costs are clear.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification, with experience working in a healthcare environment an advantage
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to process large amounts of changeable and technical information
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills, using exemplary interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and the ability to pick up new computer systems quickly
• A base knowledge of medical terminology is desirable

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors
• Answer incoming calls and provide information about imaging appointments, preparation instructions and safety checks
• Coordinate with clinical teams to request blood tests, previous imaging and surgical notes
• Liaise with travel coordinators to manage patient travel arrangements
• Coordinate with Cyclotek for daily radiopharmaceutical deliveries
• Assist with funding applications (e.g., Southern Cross, ACC) and process account payments
• Ensure patients understand costs and related processes
