Horizon Radiology, part of Integral Diagnostics (IDX Group), is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to support patients across New Zealand. Join a patient-focused team delivering essential imaging services including X-Ray, Ultrasound and Pregnancy Scans in a collaborative, professional environment.

You will handle calls, schedule appointments, provide cost estimates and referrals, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless patient journey while upholding privacy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or healthcare bookings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Empathetic approach when dealing with patients.
• Strong organisational and time management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and respond to patient enquiries professionally.
• Schedule patient appointments and maximise clinic bookings.
• Provide patients with preparation instructions, cost estimates, and concession information.
• Process referrals accurately and efficiently.
• Manage appointments using Visage RIS to optimise clinic efficiency.
• Quote fees and Medicare rebate information to patients.
• Ensure patients are informed of preparation requirements.
• Collaborate with Receptionists, Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers, and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records while upholding privacy requirements.
