Ray White Gisborne is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to support a busy real estate agent. The role focuses on taking ownership of administration, coordinating listings and marketing, and keeping daily priorities on track.
Primarily office-based with flexibility to work from home by agreement, this part-time position offers significant ownership and the chance to be integral to the business alongside an established agent.
Are you highly organised, proactive, and love getting things done?
We're looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a busy real estate agent.
Alan Thorpe is a founding director of Ray White Gisborne, specialising in rural and lifestyle property sales. With much of his time spent out meeting clients, visiting properties and managing sales, Alan is looking for a reliable, organised and proactive PA to work alongside him.
This is an opportunity to become an important part of his business, taking ownership of the administration and helping keep things on track. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, staying one step ahead, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll be the go-to person for keeping the administrative side of the business running smoothly, managing communications, coordinating listings and marketing, and helping keep daily priorities on track.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just wait to be told what to do. You'll be confident using your initiative, following things through, and picking up the phone to get things moving.

Enjoys picking up the phone rather than relying solely on emails.
Has excellent attention to detail and strong computer skills.
Can work independently without needing constant direction.
Is adaptable, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment.
Real estate experience would be an advantage, but we're equally interested in experienced PAs who have the right skills and approach.
A real estate licence, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred.
Part-time role, approximately 20–30 hours per week.
Primarily office-based, with flexibility to work from home by agreement.
A varied role with genuine responsibility and ownership.
Opportunity to work closely with an established real estate agent and become an integral part of the business.
