The team you’ll join:

Our Audit, Assurance and Reporting Advisory team is looking for an experienced and proactive Personal Assistant to join our Audit practice on a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover.

Reporting to our Audit Partners, this role will play a key part in keeping the team running smoothly through the provision of high-quality executive and administrative support.

You’ll work closely with our Partners and wider Audit team, coordinating day-to-day activities, managing competing priorities, and helping drive an exceptional experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading professional services firm and become part of a collaborative, high-performing team that values initiative, professionalism, and strong relationships.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Proactively managing Partner diaries, schedules, and meeting arrangements, ensuring priorities are effectively coordinated.

  • Supporting the scheduling team with resourcing our Auckland team and reporting nationally.

  • Anticipating and coordinating domestic and international travel, accommodation, and meeting logistics.

  • Supporting internal and external events, including planning, coordination, logistics, and stakeholder communications.

  • Producing high-quality documents, presentations, reports, and meeting materials.

  • Processing expenses, invoices, and providing broader financial administration support where required.

  • Updating and maintaining key business systems, including CRM, billing, and time management platforms.

  • Supporting Partners with the preparation and coordination of meetings, presentations, and client engagements.

  • Developing and maintaining effective office systems and administrative processes to improve efficiency.

  • Contributing to office culture initiatives and supporting team engagement activities.

  • Assisting with wider office administration and team support activities as required.

  • Collaborating closely with other support team members across the business to ensure seamless support delivery.

Your expertise:

You are an experienced Personal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment and enjoys building strong relationships while delivering exceptional support.

You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar support role.

  • Experience with scheduling across a substantial number of engagements.

  • A professional, personable, and client-focused approach.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging at all levels.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • The ability to anticipate needs, use initiative, and think ahead.

  • Proven capability to build effective internal and external relationships.

  • Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.

  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • A commitment to continuous learning and personal development.

Experience within a professional services or large corporate environment would be advantageous.
