Job summary

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities is seeking a People Data Analyst to support enterprise change through workforce analytics, reporting, and insights. You will turn complex data into meaningful intelligence to inform decisions during transformation.

You will deliver analytics and reporting to leaders, support workforce planning and change readiness, and build trusted relationships across the organisation to improve workforce intelligence capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in people analytics, workforce reporting, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful trends.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and insights that support decision-making.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present data clearly for action.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workforce analytics, reporting, and insights to support enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Support workforce planning, organisational design, and workforce impact assessments.
• Analyse workforce trends, capability requirements, employee movement, capacity, and risks.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful intelligence that informs decision-making and delivers real organisational impact.As a People Data Analyst, you'll provide specialist workforce analytics and reporting that supports leaders to make informed, evidence-based decisions throughout periods of change and transformation.Key responsibilities include: • Delivering workforce analytics, reporting, and insights to support Technology Modernisation and broader enterprise transformation initiatives. • Supporting workforce planning, organisational design, and workforce impact assessments. • Analysing workforce trends, capability requirements, employee movement, capacity, and organisational risks. • Developing reporting and measures to monitor change readiness, adoption, and benefits realisation. • Translating complex workforce data into clear and actionable insights for leaders and stakeholders. • Supporting OIA, Ministerial, Parliamentary, and other external information requests by providing accurate, timely, and evidence-based workforce information. • Identifying opportunities to improve people data quality, reporting capability, and workforce intelligence across the organisation. • Building strong relationships with leaders, People & Capability teams, and programme stakeholders to support successful change outcomes.**Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring** We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical, and passionate about using data to drive better business decisions.
