Job summary

Accident Compensation Corporation in New Zealand is hiring a Payments Assessor Level 1 to support clients through their rehabilitation by ensuring correct compensation is paid accurately and on time. You’ll work in a high-volume environment with comprehensive training and ongoing coaching to build your expertise.

Applicants will discuss payment decisions with clients, including sensitive conversations about overpayments.

Qualifications

Strong judgement and decision-making skills to analyse information and make well-reasoned decisions.
Customer-focused approach with rapport-building by phone.
Ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Proficiency with multiple digital systems and learning new technology quickly.
You must hold NZ work rights at the time of application.
