Job summary

ACC in Wellington is hiring Payments Officers to process claim and treatment payments with accuracy and efficiency. You will support a high-volume workflow, navigate multiple systems, and deliver excellent customer service.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm, with opportunities to grow within Payments and broader ACC teams. We value detail-oriented individuals who can learn new systems quickly and work collaboratively with providers and internal staff to ensure timely payments and

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with ACC staff, providers and clients.
• High attention to detail with a high workload.
• Comfort with learning new digital systems and tools.
• Experience with payments and invoicing is not essential but advantageous.
• Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine validity of payments and eligibility for entitlements.
• Process and authorise payments to providers in a timely manner.
• Resolve inquiries via phone or email.
• Enter and update invoices in ACC systems.
