Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora West Coast is seeking a proactive Booking Administrator for the Cowper Street Hub at Te Nikau Hospital & Health Centre. You will be the key contact, ensuring timely, accurate and respectful communication with patients and clinicians.

You will manage high-volume administrative tasks, support information flows, and help deliver patient-centred services in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using digital communication tools and email inboxes.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy healthcare setting.

• Provide professional, welcoming first contact for patient enquiries.
• Support day-to-day operation of the Central Booking Unit (reception and admin).
• Manage shared electronic communications and digital messaging systems.
