Job summary

Pizza Hut Invercargill is hiring three full-time Duty Managers to support store leadership, recruitment, training and day-to-day operations. You0will work 30–35 hours per week with weekend shifts on a rotating roster and report to the store manager.

Responsibilities include scheduling labour, ordering food and supplies, monitoring quality and safety, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Full-time role with opportunities to develop in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in hospitality or business, or minimum of six months of work experience in a management role.
• Strong numerical skills relevant to store operations.
• Good oral and written communication abilities.
• Basic computer literacy for daily tasks.
• A valid driverc licence is required to drive a car without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager with recruitment, training and store management.
• Help monitor staff induction and ensure courses are completed on time.
• Schedule labour, order food and supplies, and develop the team.
• Assist in serving high-quality products and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain stock records and financial transactions.
• Manage Shift Supervisors and Team Members.
• Ensure health and safety codes and company policies are followed.
• Negotiate deals for large orders with approval from the manager and assist in catering marketing.
• Assist with purchasing decisions and analyze P&L results.
• Support the execution of marketing programmes and staff meetings.
