Job summary

Pizza Hut Invercargill is hiring a Duty Manager to support store operations, staffing, and customer service. You will help recruit and train staff, manage shifts, monitor stock and finances, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a relevant qualification or management experience in fast food, strong numerical and communication skills, and a valid driver’s licence. You will work a 30–35 hour week with weekly rosters, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification (2+ years) in hospitality or business, or at least six months in a management role in fast food.
• Good numerical skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Basic computer literacy.
• A valid driver’s licence is required – you must be able to drive without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist store management with recruitment, training and daily operations.
• Monitor staff induction and ensure courses are completed on time.
• Schedule labour, order supplies and manage stock and finances.
• Ensure high quality service and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Lead shifts and oversee team members.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and standard operating procedures.
• Contribute to marketing and large-order catering planning where applicable.
• Attend staff meetings and support store performance targets.
