Job summary

Auckland Council’s Waiheke Library is seeking a part-time Library Shelver on a fixed-term basis to support the busy summer period. The role involves shelving, presentation to a high standard, and assisting customers with queries and referrals.

The successful candidate will be reliable, organised, and customer‑focused, with a positive attitude and good literacy and numeracy. Flexibility across the week is required, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Shelve and present library resources to a high standard.

• May work across the week including weekends; adhere to health and safety.
