Auckland Council is seeking a Library & Council Services Assistant for Panmure Library. The role supports daily library operations, helps shape programmes, and assists customers from diverse backgrounds.

We offer flexibility with 3 fixed-term, part-time secondments across the local board area; strong people skills and digital confidence are valued to create an engaging community space.

• Excellent people skills and ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexibility to work across Panmure Library and other sites within the local board area.
• Digital confidence and ability to use social media to promote library services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a people focus.
• Ability to collaborate within a cohesive library team and contribute to programmes.

• Assist in planning, promoting, and delivering events and programmes for all ages.
