Job summary

EVT's QT Wellington property is seeking a part-time Conference and Events Coordinator to join the events team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will coordinate conferences, weddings and corporate functions, manage quotes and client enquiries, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver flawless events.

You will work a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site at QT Wellington, ensuring accuracy, hospitality excellence and opportunities for future business across EVT group.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating conferences, events or hotel sales support.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple bookings and client relationships.
• Excellent communication and guest-experience focus.
• Experience with iVvy or similar event management systems is an advantage.
• Flexibility to be on-site for events outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conferences, weddings, private dining and corporate functions.
• Prepare quotes, respond to enquiries and maintain accurate records in iVvy.
• Work with back-of-house teams to align event details with client expectations.
• Conduct site inspections for clients and suppliers and showcase event spaces.
• Prepare sales reports and follow up post-event to secure future business.
