Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Christchurch Women's Hospital seeks two Booking Administrators for the Gynaecology Outpatients team. These busy, high-volume roles focus on booking clinics and surgeries, with part-time options (0.8 FTE 32 hours/week and 0.5 FTE 20 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Strong data entry and data systems experience.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with health-related administration and patient management systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians and others.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Perform front-of-house duties with outstanding customer service.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry and booking.
• Follow MoH and Waitaha Canterbury Elective Services guidelines.
• Communicate booking details clearly with patients.
• Manage waitlists to offer available appointments.
• Ensure all clinics are fully utilised.
