Job summary

sKids NZ is seeking a capable Programme Manager at Sacred Heart Cathedral School to lead a high-quality after-school programme in a busy inner-city setting. You will run daily operations, support children's wellbeing, and guide a team to deliver diverse activities that foster learning, creativity, and fun.

This part-time role requires a minimum of 15 hours per week, mostly Monday to Friday, with additional hours possible during holiday programmes. No weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in after-school settings.
• Strong communication with families and school staff.
• Ability to support childrens learning and participation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the sKids programme from set-up to pack-down.
• Lead and coach Programme Assistants to deliver a safe, engaging experience.
• Support homework help, skill building, and activities across arts, sports and STEM.
• Create a welcoming environment balancing learning, recreation and fun.
• Build relationships with parents, caregivers and school staff.
• Manage programme administration and compliance requirements.
