Job summary

Skids Auckland is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our sKids programme for children, with shifts 7am–8:30am and 2:30pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, minimum 15 hours per week. Holiday programmes may extend hours.

You will supervise a large group of children, plan activities across arts, sports, trips, and more, and coach Programme Assistants to keep operations smooth and safe. Build strong relationships with parents and school staff onsite.

Qualifications

• Have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Bring proven leadership experience working with groups of children.
• Own reliable transport to the Pinehill site.
• Are over 20 years old.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of day-to-day running of the sKids programme from set-up through to pack-down.
• Lead and manage a large group of children, ensuring a safe, inclusive and engaging environment.
• Plan and deliver structured activities (arts, sports, trips, baking, drama, music).
• Support positive guidance strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
• Build relationships with parents, caregivers and school staff onsite.
• Coach and delegate to Programme Assistants to maintain high standards.
• Prepare in advance with resources and clear session expectations.
