Job summary

sKids in New Zealand is seeking a Programme Manager to keep mornings and afternoons memorable for children. You will work a minimum of 15 hours per week, rostered Monday to Friday, with early and late shifts across school sites.

The role focuses on safe, structured operations and positive guidance, while building strong relationships with parents and staff. You will lead activity planning, coordinate a team of Programme Assistants, and ensure smooth session delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience working with groups of children (e.g. OSCAR programmes, teaching, coaching, childcare, camps, or similar environments).
• Confident in managing challenging behaviour and high-energy groups with calm, firm, and solution-focused approach.
• Experience taking ownership of programmes, teams, or operations, not just assisting.
• Strong communication with parents, schools, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the sKids programme from set‑up to pack‑down.
• Lead and manage a large group of children with a safe, inclusive, engaging environment.
