Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to oversee overnight operations at our Wellington hotel. You will greet guests, manage night audit tasks, and supervise the front office and food & beverage teams in the absence of Heads of Department.

This role requires NZ Diploma or 3+ years in hotel front office/night audit, strong numeracy, and calm leadership. A full drivers license for valet parking is preferred. Excellent perks and growth within EVT await you.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in hotel/front office or front office experience.
• Experience in night audit or hotel supervisory role.
• Strong numerical accuracy and familiarity with hotel cashiering/audit functions.
• Proven leadership ability to run overnight operations and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Welcome late arrival guests and assist with overnight guest services.
• Oversee nightly revenue postings and auditing of daily transactions.
• Control and audit physical keys and guest accounts.
• Ensure accurate reservation details and guest folios.
• Lead the shift team and maintain a warm, professional atmosphere.
