Job summary

Woolworths Group New Zealand is seeking a proactive team member to help manage and maintain process flow for an assigned workstream within our stores network. You’ll work closely with your Team Leader and the swarm to ensure efficiency and adherence to guidelines.

Execute routines, lead training, champion safety, resolve issues, and foster collaboration across our store teams. You will contribute to a busy, inclusive culture with growth opportunities and weekend/evening shifts as part of the

Qualifications

• Strong ability in process excellence and continuous improvement.

• Availability for four weekend shifts per month and at least one evening per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operational Routines: Follow set routines to complete processes accurately and on time, including managing inwards goods, ensuring price integrity, and completing all inventory tasks and stocktakes.
• Lead Team & Training: Lead the 'swarm' within your function, ensuring work is completed correctly, and provide on-job training and coaching for new and existing team members.
• Champion Safety: Actively promote a safe and healthy work environment by following protocols, reporting hazards, and prioritizing wellbeing.
• Resolve Issues & Support Store: Timely elevate process issues for resolution and step up as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts.
• Foster Collaboration: Actively participate in 'Better Together' connections to strengthen team collaboration and communication.
