Job summary

Woolworths Group New Zealand in Auckland is seeking an engaged operations teammate to support flow in a busy store environment. You will follow defined routines, manage inbound goods, and help maintain price integrity while supporting inventory tasks.

The role combines hands-on leadership with coaching, a focus on safety, and opportunities to step in as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts. You’ll join a friendly, energetic team that values collaboration and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Execute Operational Routines: follow set routines to complete processes accurately and on time, including managing inwards goods, ensuring price integrity, and completing all inventory tasks and stocktakes.
• Lead Team & Training: lead the swarm within your function, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and provide on‑job training for new and existing team members.
• Champion Safety: promote a safe and healthy work environment by following protocols, reporting hazards, and prioritising wellbeing.
• Resolve Issues & Support Store: elevate process issues for resolution and step up as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts.
• Foster Collaboration: participate in Better Together connections to strengthen team collaboration and communication.
