Job summary

Goodwood Flooring in Auckland is seeking a seasoned manager to schedule flooring installations, coordinate staff and subcontractors, and ensure sites are prepared for work.

You will read plans, measure jobs, liaise with builders and clients, and keep projects on schedule while maintaining high workmanship standards. This role moves you off the tools into hands-on leadership with a growing team.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, flooring or another hands-on trade.
• Strong organisational and people-management skills.
• Able to read plans, measure jobs and understand site requirements.
• A full New Zealand driver licence.

About You

• Practical, reliable and solutions-focused
• Good communication and basic technology skills
• A full New Zealand driver licence

Flooring experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. We’re more interested in someone with solid construction knowledge, strong leadership skills and the ability to keep jobs and people organised.
