Flooring Group Mount Wellington – Auckland, North Island is seeking a Sales Consultant & Project Management professional for our Mount Wellington showroom. You will support customers from initial inquiry through project delivery, combining sales with project management on flooring installations.
You will work in a tight-knit team, helping clients choose flooring solutions, measure sites, prepare quotes and collaborate with installation and design teams.

At Flooring Xtra Mt Wellington and Howick Village, our business is relationships, it just so happens we are also pretty good at flooring.
This role works in an extremely tight knit team, supporting our clients with every step of the flooring process, from the moment a customer walks through the door, to long after the flooring has been installed.
We love working alongside many different stakeholders, therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must in this role.
While prior flooring experience is helpful, it is not necessary. This role is full time, working 5 days per week, including rostered Saturday's, 9:30am - 3pm.
A typical work day for a Sales/project manager includes:
Working with clients and ensuring they have a strong understanding of the best flooring solution for their needs
Assisting clients with colours & design decisions
On-site measuring of homes & quantifying of plans
Presenting and following up on quotes
Follow up on customer leads and post installation feedback
Good level of IT skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in sales or the flooring is desired but not necessary
Be self-motivated – the ability to work autonomously, while also working alongside the team for the best outcome on all projects
A team player – working with our sales, admin, operations and installation team
