Job summary

Christchurch Casino is seeking an IT Team Leader to guide day-to-day IT delivery while staying hands-on. You will coordinate the team, provide technical guidance, and ensure secure, reliable technology across the organisation.

The role requires strong infrastructure experience, the ability to mentor staff, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues. RBI and regulatory awareness are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT infrastructure and operational support experience.
• Experience leading, mentoring or coordinating technical colleagues.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and own issues.
• Ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
• IT qualifications or certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily priorities and roster for the IT team.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting across infrastructure, networks, endpoints and business applications.
• Maintain secure, reliable systems with monitoring, patching and cybersecurity controls.
• Coordinate backups, recovery testing and planned changes.
• Communicate with departments and vendors, keeping documentation current.
