IAG Insurance in New Zealand is seeking a Team Lead, Operations Support to guide a 24/7 in‑house operations team across Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington. You’ll lead incident response, service restoration and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure reliable platform performance.

As a permanent full‑time leader, you’ll drive continuous improvement, partner with engineering and business teams, and develop a high‑performing, future‑ready team in a dynamic technology transformation context.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology operations or production support teams.
• Strong leadership with coaching and career development.
• Ability to manage incidents and priorities in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technology professionals through coaching and career development.
• Oversee 24/7 operational monitoring, triage, incident response and service restoration.
• Coordinate production support, releases and service requests across environments.
• Use service data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering, testing and delivery teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Manage external partners and suppliers to meet service standards.
• Provide reporting on service health, risks and capacity.
