Job summary

Stantec in Christchurch on-site role: Desktop Support Analyst, part of IT Services NZ & Asia, supporting servers, apps, desktops and mobile services. Travel to other offices may be required; work schedule is full-time on site in Christchurch.

Ideal candidates have IT qualifications and 3–5 years of IT desktop experience, with strong Windows, Office 365, ITIL and networking knowledge, plus imaging and hardware troubleshooting abilities.

Qualifications

• Proven desktop support experience in an IT environment.
• 3–5 years in a Desktop Analyst role or similar.
• Tertiary or industry IT qualifications completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide user-facing operational support for desktops and applications.
• Resolve tickets within agreed timeframe.
• Manage queue and perform maintenance of designated services.
• Test and deploy software updates and security patches.
• Participate in IT projects as required.
• Travel to other offices when needed and work after hours.
• Install and maintain AV systems in NZ offices.
