Job summary

Stantec is seeking a motivated Desktop Support Analyst to join the IT Services NZ & Asia team in Christchurch, NZ. The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, supporting server services, applications, desktops and mobile devices, with occasional travel to other offices.

You will complete IT qualifications and have 3–5 years in IT, focusing on Windows, imaging, Office 365, ITIL practices and networking. A strong team player with willingness to work outside standard hours is preferred.

Qualifications

• Tertiary or industry IT qualifications or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ IT experience in a real-world IT environment.
• Desktop analyst experience including software management.

Responsibilities

• Provide user-facing operational support for desktops and applications.
• Resolve tickets within defined SLAs.
• Manage queue and perform proactive maintenance of designated services.
• Test and deploy software updates and security patches to servers/workstations.
• Participate in IT projects as needed.
• Work outside standard hours and travel to other NZ offices.
• Install and maintain AV systems in NZ offices.
