Job summary

Lineage is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Executive to strengthen customer relationships and drive growth across New Zealand's cold storage and logistics operations. Based in Auckland, you will develop opportunities, partner with operational leaders, and deliver tailored supply chain solutions that create long-term value.

You'll manage a portfolio of customers, pursue new warehousing opportunities, and lead pricing proposals, negotiations and contract renewals to support

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, account management, sales or customer growth roles.
• Exposure to logistics, warehousing, supply chain, transport or 3PL environments.
• A customer-first approach and proven ability to develop long-term partnerships.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to make data-driven commercial recommendations.
• Experience preparing proposals, pricing solutions and business cases.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to identifying opportunities and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identifying, pursuing and securing new warehousing and supply chain opportunities.
• Developing commercially competitive proposals, pricing models and solutions.
• Leading customer negotiations and supporting contract renewals and rate reviews.
• Working closely with operational leaders to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Maintaining an active pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
• Providing strategic customer insights and market intelligence to the broader business.
• Supporting initiatives focused on business growth, operational improvement and customer experience.
